Points are allocated based on the percentage of respondents who replied "Tend to agree" and “Strongly agree” to the survey question (x): • x > 30% = 0 points. • 15% ≤ x ≤ 30% = linear function. • x < 15% = 5 points.

Analysis of survey responses from a representative sample of the population to the following question: “In the last 12 months (since [MONTH YEAR]), have you had to give any public official a gift or money - in addition to any official fee -, or done them a favour in return for a service, including through someone else (in relation to any of the following institutions: police, registry and permit services, utilities, tax revenues, land services or any government agency)?” Answer options are: Yes, No, Do not know, Prefer not to answer. Points are allocated based on the percentage of respondents who replied "Yes” to the survey question (x): • x > 8% = 0 points. • 2% ≤ x ≤ 8% = linear function. • x < 2% = 5 points.
