Legislative safeguards for suspension of civil servants from duty

Expert review of legislation. Grounds for suspension are limited to justified risks (e.g. if it can be demonstrated that there is a well-justified risk that pieces of evidence may be lost, that the presence of the incumbent civil servant will significantly hamper the disciplinary procedure, or that his/her presence would be harmful to the reputation of the civil service). Consequences of the suspension in salaries and other benefits during the periods of suspension, and the consequences in case either of acquittal or of punishment of the civil servant must also be regulated. For each of the following two criteria, 1 point is awarded (total of 2 points).
