Government websites are tested for compliance with WCAG 2.0 AA, which is the equivalent of ISO 40500, using the resource http://wave.webaim.org. The testing requires one by one processing of website URLs. The following websites are tested: • national government online portal; • government public services portal (if different from the previous); • all central government ministries; • sample of the ten central government agencies with the highest number of employees. For each website, the number of errors (red colour) under WCAG 2.0 AA is recorded. The arithmetic mean (average) of all websites is calculated. If websites exist for more than one Constitutional language all are tested and the one with the highest number of errors is used for the calculation. Websites version for languages that are not Constitutional languages are not taken into account. Point allocation: • 3 points = average of 0-9 errors • 2 points = average of 10-19 errors • 1 point = average of 20-29 errors • 0 points = average of 30 errors or more
